Research & Recent Projects

At Bell Labs, I carry out research into the devices that will drive the Internet of Things. In particular, I focus on designing and building devices that are very easy to use, make use of the latest web, data and device technologies and provide extraordinary experiences for users at home, at work or at play. This work is carried out within the Internet of Things research team based in Dublin, Cambridge and Antwerp.

SnapSense

A 'Lego' like sensing platform that allows plug and play of i2c,SPI or Serial sensors.

Wearable Smart Badge

An ultra thin wifi enabled wearable badge with touch screen. Define and share information. Great for conferences, social gatherings or business meetings.

DeepEye Camera

Fixed or portable (wearable) HD cameras with onboard Deep Learning engine.
